Audio Visual Production Management (AVPM)

During my time in Higher NITEC, I was a part of the Audio Visual Production Management (AVPM) CCA. Prior to entering my second year, I was elected as one of the  Executive Committee members, taking the roles of Equipment IC and Sound Head. This reflected the trust placed in me by the lecturers and the previous Exco members during the handover process, who believed in my ability to handle greater responsibilities.

One of the biggest challenges in taking up these roles was ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout all the events with no major technical issues, while also maintaining the standard expected of AVPM. I worked closely with the other departments, such as Staging, Multimedia, and Lighting, to coordinate technical operations from setup through to bump-out. Through this experience, I developed strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, and gained valuable experience in managing technical operations in live event environments.
